Won't you be my Valentine?

A new holiday is upon us.... St.Valentine's day! Who would not be inspired by the colors of this holiday....pink, red, pink, white, did I say PINK! So many sweet images to use and papers to explore. And glitter. Can't forget glitter.
Remember when we decorated shoe boxes to collect our school valentines in? Some boxes were merely covered while others were wild extravaganzas of tissue and hearts and ribbons.! My girls are older so I'm not sure if they still do that. Probably gone the way of most holidays today! I hope not and I hope that someone lets you know how special you are this Valentine's Day or any day .

Oh I do love Valentine's day and the red, white and most of all PINK and oh yes who can forget the glitter.

I remember making shoeboxes for my valentine's when I was in school my older boys have done it but not my younger boys or my daughter as of yet.

Happy Valentine's to you early.

I love helping my daughters make up valentines boxes every year and they come home telling me that their teacher wouldn't let them use it. What a shame that the kids can't celebrate to the fullest anymore.
I still have them make them and bring them to school. It's just too much fun to let that memory fade.
