Quilt Collage

I made this quilt collage using one of the Cabinet
cards I found at the flea market. I pieced together
some pretty fabrics including some Rachel Ashwell,
to use as the base. I added the card, vintage jewelry
finding, vintage velvet ribbon, and copies of vintage
ephemera. It measures a large 13 x 17 ins. and hangs
by a french laundry hanger. It is in my etsy store.
I enjoyed combining the fabric and the paper items.

Great idea! Love your pin basket, I 'm so surprised that in all the shops I visit I never see any! I also am so darn to vintage cards! I recently found a large bundle of get well to a man who I believe as in an auto accident and to an elderly ill lady, they were all dated in the forties! such fun reading them, especially the ones to the fella! I'll be posting my recent card finds in a few, stop by again and thanks again for visiting! Lori
