I have been having fun playing with some vintage wallpaper. It is fragile and a little tricky to work with but well worth the effort. Some of the papers I got from my friend
Rheaat sweetnshabbyroses. She has more for sale! I have a few patterns available in my etsy shop.

These are Christmas ornaments I covered with 6 different papers and of course german glass glitter. They don't scream Christmas so they could be left out all year long.

Remember these bowls or baskets from the 50's? Ok, maybe you are younger than me. They used to make them with leftover greeting cards, usually Christmas cards. I made mine using vintage wallpaper that was laminated for strength. It's a cute little catch-all for the desk or craft table. All the lovely patterns make me happy!

loved seeing your vintage wallpaper creations - wish I knew where to get some vintage wall paper in Australia. I decided to make some decorations with different rose (quilting) fabrics. I will have to get a wriggle on get started so that I can post pics on my blog. I enjoy seeing what other crafters are up to.
What a great thing to do with wall paper...and I so remember those from the 50's...thanks for coming by for tea today...hugs and smiles Gloria
Those ornaments are so clever! I just love their shape--and the fact that they are made from vintage wall paper and sprinkled with glitter makes them all the more wonderful! When I was a kiddo, we would make little baskets similar to yours from old Christmas cards! You just brought back some sweet memories! Dana
