Flea Market
I just loaded up my Etsy store with beautiful flea market finds. It is so hard to pass them on but that is how I feed my flea market habit! He-He! Take a look if you have a minute and see if I have found that special something that you can't live without. I only pictured a few here. So many treasures , so little time! See you at the flea market.

Using what I have....or I'm too cheap to buy it.
I made a cross-stitched Christmas tablecloth for my niece who is getting married on Saturday. I was going to buy wrapping paper, ribbon and a card but my daughter said let's use what we have. So this is what we came up with. Butcher's paper, seam binding and copies of vintage wedding cards. Does it say "what a creative family!" or does it scream "THEY WERE TOO CHEAP TO BUY WRAPPING PAPER!" Well , the deed is done and this is how we are taking it . No excuses.

Fiesta!
I made this banner for my SIL as a birthday present. She loves red and bright fiesta colors. She is my flea market buddy and though she isn't into the soft colors that I like, she appreciates old, lovely things. That is as close as anyone in my family gets to liking the things I like. So to all my blog friends, whatever color you like, HAPPY SPRING!

A little Easter sweetness
At the suggestion of a friend, I made one of my card baskets using copies of vintage Easter postcards. They are so precious and sentimental! I used 12 different designs with the sweetest sugary colors. They are laminated for strength. The time consuming part is all the sewing. Remember these from the 60's?! Ok, maybe you are younger than me! This would look so cute with some Easter grass and a chick or two. I will be making a few more of these as Easter is sneaking up on us even though there is snow out my window!
