flea Market Treasure

I have more treasures from the flea market to show you. I hope, now that it is summer, you are out finding your own treasures in the sunshine. I found 2 boxes of unused, vintage greeting cards. The card on the right, with the flower heads, is on acetate and unfolds. Very sweet.

These baby kimonos must have been stored away as there are no signs of use. They have the daintiest embroidery of bears and elephants.
Doesn't this look fresh from the farmer's market? A fruit printed table topper . Again, I don't think it was ever used as I can't find a stain and the colors are so bright. Perfect for a summer table.
Well, I have to run as there is an auction tonight. Have a happy and safe holiday weekend!

What a lovely blog you have. I also enjoy Creative Breathing, and although I haven't jumped in to make spool dolls or tags, I find it all thoroughly intriguing and adorable.

Those cards are just so wonderful...and still boxed! Even the box is beautiful!!!

As for your pink cake lady below...I just giggled when I saw her...she's wonderful! She looks like she'd be lots of fun to make. If I were you, I'd be giggling every time I passed her...she's precious!
Have a wonderful weekend Karen :)

Hello~I've never come across vintage greeting cards, let alone a box of them..."Jackpot!" You really found some *sweet surprises*. I think the table cloth is perfect for summer.
It would be charming on a picnic setting.

Stroll on over for a visit. Your company would be nice. I'll put the kettle on.

Sweet wishes,
Sara

Wow!!!!! These are all wonderful finds. Great hunting!!
Vintage paper items- especially cards- really get me. I am a sucker for a cute old card. I have a neighbor who does not understand why anyone would want to have an old card from someone else on display. Oh well. I understand.
