fleabagger

I have more flea pickings to show you. The southern belle is a square tablecloth with a belle in each corner. Really detailed stitching on this piece. Lots of fancy stitches too.

Isn't the edge on this dish remarkable? What a handpainted beauty she is.
One flea dealer was making repro French grain sacks by printing on heavy canvas panels. This may become a pillow. I bought another to share. I hope I can find her next week to purchase some more. I feel a new season of "Hoarders" about to begin! See you at the flea!

That is beautiful, honey. I love little dishes like that to store pretties in.

I just love the vintage Southern Belle linens. They are so sweet.
Love the little dish too.
I sure would like to run across someone who makes those fabulous french images. Hope you find her again and buy lots of them.

I also have a weakness for hand painted dishes. It is amazing how some people at garage and estate sales put such little value/sentimental value on hand painted items. I selfishly love when I find a sale like that. I have found some real beauties for under a dollar!!
Glad you found yours and hope it was a bargain too.
