Creating

I was able to finish this UFO this week. I think my daughter's love of birds is rubbing off on me. I  used some of the special bits and pieces that I was saving for "someday".


I hung it over the chair that I use in the family room. Do you do that too....sit in the same chair so that it becomes known as "your" chair?
I used instant coffee to create faux stains and rust marks. 
I even found sheet music to copy that had a bird theme.

that is really gorgeous Karen...i love how you used the coffee for aging, it looks really authentic...and your embellishing with the laces and button card is fantastic...what a great old hanger you used for it too!!!

Girl, you did a fantastic job! I love the bird print and the sheet music {sigh}. That button card is precious...I just love ALL of the little details {sigh again}

Seriously, I'm going do my homework. If it comes up missing...I have it :)

Very nice. I like the birds as well. I do the same thing with supplies...I save them--save them for what?? I think all crafters do that, have a special stash they keep. Glad you put yours to beautiful use.
