Auction love

Once in awhile it happens. An auction that seemed to be tailored just for me. I brought home a box of beautiful antique French and German bisque doll heads of all sizes. Most are in good condition, some however need some love.
I also brought home boxes and boxes of vintage millinery in every color imaginable. I will be offering these in my etsy shop in groupings of assorted colors at a really great price. Let me know if you are interested in groupings of only a color or two.  See you at the auction!

A flower is a flower is a flower.....

A snow storm is headed my way again here in the Northeast but I have a little garden here inside that never fades or wilts. This is the base of an Italian tole floor lamp that I have beside the chair where I read and watch tv. I have had it for years so sometimes I don't even notice it anymore. Do you do that? Find that you don't see your lovely things sometimes because they have been with you for so long?

These metal tole flowers are the same original bright colors, I didn't paint them. This rose is my favorite.
Some forget-me-nots.
Dogwood or.............?
Not sure what this is but I LIKE it! The graceful shape is so pretty.
Spring is around the corner, I know it,.....at least I hope it is?!

Pink Saturday

Welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly.
Please click on the link with her name to visit her blog and find the large, complete, list of all this Saturday's pink participants. This is a jar on my mantle that holds many of my millinery flowers. I can't bear to use them and I can't bear to hide them in a drawer so I layered them in this jar to see them everyday. The pink rose plate behind it picks up the flower theme. Thanks for visiting and have a great Saturday!
