A little Easter sweetness

At the suggestion of a friend, I made one of my card baskets using copies of vintage Easter postcards. They are so precious and sentimental! I used 12 different designs with the sweetest sugary colors. They are laminated for strength. The time consuming part is all the sewing. Remember these from the 60's?! Ok, maybe you are younger than me! This would look so cute with some Easter grass and a chick or two.  I will be making a few more of these as Easter is sneaking up on us even though there is snow out my window!

Absolutely beatiful! i love those old baskets, but it seems like there is always a card in them that shouldn't be, something that stands out and doesn't match. I guess making your own with vintage papers solves that problem!
