Garden Photos

These are some early summer shots of the garden. These hanging planters on the porch are called "super-tunias" by the neighborhood nursery where we get them. And they are super. They will grow and hang down to the railing.

It was a rainy week here so the pale pink peonies got pretty beat up. I love their soft fluffy ruffles. We have a few ornamental pieces like this post in the garden to add texture.
I always say I can't take any credit for the garden as my hubby does it all and he says he can't take any credit because God does it all.

Hello Karen, how pretty your porch is with all the gingerbread! I do love those supertunia's, I've never seen them before but I will have to keep an eye out for them next year. I love the scent of petunia's, and can't have a summer without them!
Bless you, Shirl

Oooooo so pretty! Those tunias are really something! I got some "Wave" petunuias and the chickens have now eaten them down to nothing!

Happy Pink Saturday!

Dear Secondhand Rose,
This is my first time to your blog. I love those super-tunias....I must try to find some of them...they are awesome....how long do they continue to bloom into the season...
I love your husbands comment about the garden...it is so very "refreshing" to hear someone give GOD credit for anything any more. It breaks my heart that no one wants to hear about Jesus
Blessings to you both
hugs

Karen, love the super-tunias. I have never seen any of those before. I will have to check the nurseries here in Phoenix. I also love the gingerbread trim to your porch. So beautiful. Please stop by and say hi at Country Wings in Phoenix. Wonderful post. "Country Hugs", Sherry
