While visiting in blogland, I saw on
Natasha'sblog, her precious prayer book that she had found after many years. I had a similar little prayer book, that belonged to my mother, and was given to me as a little girl. That little treasure stayed on my mind so I went looking for it and found it.
This little hardbound book, has a cover that is made of plastic or maybe celluloid. It fits in the palm of my hand. The prayer book was given to my mother in the 1930's by her grandmother. I used to carry this little gift around and my family called me "Sister Karen". Thanks for the memory Natasha.

Thank you for visiting my blog and for your lovely comments.
It is a wonderful prayer book, such a special thing to have. Natasha is very lucky to own it. You don't find these so easily in UK. I usually look out for things like that when I go over to France to visit my parents.
Have a lovely weekend
Warm wishes

I forgot to add that I am pleased that you too found your prayer book. It must have been a joy to be re-united with it and to have all those good memories come back to you.
