Unaltered art
I snatched up a batch of these vintage cards, some seasonal , some scriptural, but all in excellent condition , at the flea market. I'm having buyers remorse because I left two-thirds of the lot there! What was I thinking. I'm very practical and I have to have a use in mind to buy something. So I rationalized to myself that I would use them in creating something, some art. And yet they are art in themselves. Every sweet last one of them. I could never alter them. So I shuffle through them and look at the beautiful colors and wish I had the whole lot of them even if it isn't practical and I can't "use" them for anything.

What a find, they all look to be in such condition. I don't think I could have left any of them behind. Don't you just love the sweetness of vintage cards, both the images and the sentiments?
Oh I love those! Why cant I ever find anything like that when I go to thrift stores?? You are so lucky!

I do that all the time, and always remember the things I didn't get!!
I'm with you !! I could never cut into anything vintage, but you can always make color copies and Alter away !! These are awesome, and I cant tell you how many times I have not bought something and regretted it !

I love vintage cards and have so many! I have a hard time wanting to "alter" them too. Yours are so sweet...
You found a great bargain! They are so pretty, you could display some on a table under glass. I'm sure you will enjoy them wherever you put them!

I just love old cards. These are very pretty.
Frame them! They are really lovely and have such wonderful words on them, too. What a joy! Thanks for sharing.

My DH thinks I NEVER walk away from anything I want, but I DO, & yes, it can be a regrettable situation. Make copies of these beauties to use!!!
